Job description

Under the direction of the radiologist, provides CT and MRI services to patient for diagnosis. Closely follows physician's instructions, appropriately positions patients, prepares and operates equipment, and accurately records the images requested.

Position Specifics:
o Department: MRI
o Schedule: 10:30am-8:00pm (4x9 shifts) with every 3rd weekend rotation (7:30am-5:00pm). No call
o Facility: St. Mary's Hospital
o Location: Decatur, IL
o Sign On: $20,000
o Compensation aligned with your experience
Education Qualifications

• Associates degree in allied health, applied/radiologic science or certificate program is required.

Experience Qualifications

• 1 year of radiology experience is preferred.

Certifications, Licenses and Registrations

• Licensed Radiographer in the state of practice is required. May accept limited and/or temporary permits/licenses for a period of 12 months.
• Certification/registration or registry-eligible as a Radiologic Technologist in Radiography (RT(R)) by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) is required. Certification must be obtained within 12 months.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required

Pay Range:

$32.58 - $48.87

A successful candidate's actual pay rate will be based on several factors including relevant experience, skills, training, certifications and education.
