Job Description

Position Summary:

CT/MRI/PET-CT Field Service Engineers will travel and execute all required service requests, including repairs, planned maintenance, equipment de-installations, and installations. Must have the ability to troubleshoot and accurately resolve technical issues using laptops and other equipment. Familiarity with CT/MRI/PET-CT medical equipment is required, along with OEM or third-party training/experience. Must have Siemens MRI or CT Experience.

Location: Washington, DC Area

Essential Duties:

  • Provide on-demand phone and on-site support as required.
  • Plan, schedule, and execute all planned maintenance (PM) activities.
  • Accurately and promptly submit required paperwork to accounting/operations.
  • Promote positive customer relationships, including non-service call visits and meetings.
  • Promptly return and document all unused materials to MXR Imaging facilities.
  • Collaborate with sales and operations on customer-specific site and technical issues.
  • Work with customers and sales force to clarify requirements and resolve technical issues.
  • Perform on-site system installations and de-installations professionally, safely, and accurately.
  • Assist in site planning and sales consultations as needed.
  • Maintain inventory integrity through proper handling, inspection, and warehousing.
  • Support company-wide initiatives, policies, and procedures, including Quality Management System maintenance.
  • Note: Duties may be modified as deemed appropriate by management.

Education/Experience:

Required:

  • High School Diploma
  • Extensive experience servicing Medical Imaging equipment
  • 5+ years experience with Siemens MRI or CT
  • Willingness to be on call, including weekends and holidays
  • Valid U.S. driver's license

Preferred:

  • An Associate Degree in Electrical Engineering, military electronics training, certified electrical training, or equivalent experience.

Travel:

  • Willing to travel within the United States.

  • ESD Training (ESA and EF)
  • Cold Stress, Heat Stress, and HIPAA Training
  • Departmental Procedures, Quality KPIs, Good Documentation Practices
  • Safety protocols and software utilization
