Job Description

Position Summary:

CT/MRI/PET-CT Field Service Engineers will travel to execute all required service requests, including repairs, planned maintenance, equipment de-installations, and installations. Must have the ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues accurately using laptops and other equipment. Familiarity with CT/MRI/PET-CT medical equipment is required, along with OEM or third-party training/experience. Must have Siemens MRI or CT Experience.

Location: Portland, OR

Essential Duties:

  • Provide on-demand phone and on-site support.
  • Plan, schedule, and execute planned maintenance activities.
  • Submit required paperwork promptly to accounting/operations.
  • Build positive customer relationships, including non-service visits and meetings.
  • Return and document unused materials to MXR Imaging facilities.
  • Collaborate with sales and operations on customer-specific issues.
  • Clarify customer requirements and technical issues with customers and sales team.
  • Perform on-site system installations and de-installations professionally and safely.
  • Assist in site planning and sales consultations as needed.
  • Maintain inventory through proper handling, inspection, and warehousing.
  • Support quality management system and company policies.
  • Note: Duties may be modified as needed by management.

Education/Experience:

Required:

  • High School Diploma
  • Extensive experience servicing Medical Imaging equipment.
  • 5+ years experience with Siemens MRI or CT.
  • Willingness to be on call, including weekends and holidays.
  • Valid U.S. driver's license.

Preferred:

  • Associate Degree in Electrical Engineering or military electronics training, or equivalent certified electrical experience.

Travel:

  • Willing to travel within the United States.

Physical Demands:

  • Specific vision abilities required.

Training Requirements:

  • ESD, Cold Stress, HIPAA, Heat Stress, and departmental procedures training.
  • Quality, safety, and software training as applicable.
