Job Description
Position Summary:
CT/MRI/PET-CT Field Service Engineers will travel to execute all required service requests, including repairs, planned maintenance, equipment de-installations, and installations. Must have the ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues accurately using laptops and other equipment. Familiarity with CT/MRI/PET-CT medical equipment is required, along with OEM or third-party training/experience. Must have Siemens MRI or CT Experience.
Location: Portland, OR
Essential Duties:
- Provide on-demand phone and on-site support.
- Plan, schedule, and execute planned maintenance activities.
- Submit required paperwork promptly to accounting/operations.
- Build positive customer relationships, including non-service visits and meetings.
- Return and document unused materials to MXR Imaging facilities.
- Collaborate with sales and operations on customer-specific issues.
- Clarify customer requirements and technical issues with customers and sales team.
- Perform on-site system installations and de-installations professionally and safely.
- Assist in site planning and sales consultations as needed.
- Maintain inventory through proper handling, inspection, and warehousing.
- Support quality management system and company policies.
- Note: Duties may be modified as needed by management.
Education/Experience:
Required:
- High School Diploma
- Extensive experience servicing Medical Imaging equipment.
- 5+ years experience with Siemens MRI or CT.
- Willingness to be on call, including weekends and holidays.
- Valid U.S. driver's license.
Preferred:
- Associate Degree in Electrical Engineering or military electronics training, or equivalent certified electrical experience.
Travel:
- Willing to travel within the United States.

- ESD, Cold Stress, HIPAA, Heat Stress, and departmental procedures training.
- Quality, safety, and software training as applicable.
