Job summary

Nantucket Cottage Hospital is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform Diagnostic Radiography, CT, MRI, and Mammography according to department protocols, HFAP/TJC/local/regulatory standards. You will be the first point of contact for patients, ensure image quality, and transmit images to PACS.

The role requires graduation from a JRCERT-accredited program, ARRT certification (R and CT/MR), current state licensure, and BLS/CPR within one week of hire.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a program accredited by JRCERT.
• ARRT (R) and ARRT (CT)/(M)/(MR) certification required.
• Must be registered and able to work unsupervised in 2 modalities.
• Current state licenses required; BLS/CPR within 1 week of hire.

Responsibilities

• Position patients and set technical factors for all diagnostic procedures.
• Maintain image quality and proper patient labeling and PACS transmission.
• Adhere to HFAP/TJC/local regulatory standards and safety protocols.
• Assist in PI/ QC activities and support department operations.
