Job summary

Cape Cod Hospital in Hyannis, MA, is seeking a CT Technologist I to perform CT procedures with a focus on precision, safety, and patient care. The role requires MA licensure for Radiography and CT, ARRT CT certification or NMTBC CT certification, and BLS.

You will operate CT equipment, ensure image quality, and support radiologists throughout examinations. The position offers a 32-hour weekly schedule with rotating nights and weekends, and eligibility for a sign-on bonus.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Massachusetts State License in Radiography and CT.
• ARRT CT certification or NMTBC CT certification.
• BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Operates CT scanning equipment and controls with attention to detail.
• Positions patients and applies immobilization devices for optimal imaging.
• Manages patient screening, consent and queries, ensuring safety and comfort.
• Reviews CT images for quality and relays emergent findings to Radiologist.
• Prepares and administers IVs and oral contrast as directed.
• Maintains EMR/PACS record integrity and radiology documentation.
• Adheres to infection control, radiation safety, and department policies.
• Participates in continuing education per ARRT and MA licensing requirements.
