Job summary

Nantucket Cottage Hospital (NCH) is seeking a skilled Radiology Technologist to perform diagnostic radiography, CT, MRI, or mammography according to department protocols. You will interact with patients and ensure high-quality images and accurate PACS transmission while adhering to HFAP/TJC/local regulations.

The role requires ARRT certification in at least two modalities or ARRT (MR/CT) credentials, JRCERT‑accredited education, and current licensure with BLS/CPR within one week of hire.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a program accredited by JRCERT.
• ARRT (R), ARRT (CT/MR), or ARRT (M) required.
• Current state licensure and BLS/CPR within one week of hire.
• Proficient in CPSI, PACS, and related imaging information systems.
• Must be able to work unsupervised in two imaging modalities.

Responsibilities

• Position patients and set technical factors for diagnostic procedures.
• Ensure correct labeling with patient ID, date, and exam details.
• Maintain infection control and patient safety standards per hospital policy.
• Operate radiography, CT, MRI, or mammography equipment per department protocol.
• Collaborate with Radiologists and department staff to optimize imaging workflows.
