Job summary

AdventHealth in Land O' Lakes, FL is seeking an experienced Radiologic Technologist specializing in CT and MRI. You will perform high-quality exams, review patient histories, ensure safety protocols, and document results in EMR/PACS.

The role includes IV contrast administration and educating patients about procedures. Requirements include 2+ years CT/MR experience, ARRT certifications, BLS, and strong interpersonal skills.

Qualifications

• 2+ years CT/MR experience required.
• ARRT CT and MR certification required or MR ARRT/MR with ARMRIT alternative.
• BLS/CPR certification required.
• Must follow safety and radiation protection procedures.
• Proficient in patient screening and consent processes.
• Ability to learn new imaging technologies and workflows.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality CT and MRI exams per orders.
• Review patient history to confirm exam appropriateness.
• Screen for MRI safety and complete screening documentation.
• Follow time-out and identification procedures.
• Position patients for optimal imaging results.
• Administer IV contrast per safety guidelines.
• Document in EMR and PACS accurately and promptly.
• Educate patients about procedures and safety precautions.
• Maintain clean exam rooms and equipment; stock supplies.
• Assist with inventory and daily QC checks; perform other duties.
