Job summary

AdventHealth in Tampa, FL is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform CT and radiographic examinations, ensuring optimal image quality and patient safety. You will document in EMR/PACS, prep exam rooms, and educate patients about procedures while adhering to ALARA principles.

Must have ARRT and BLS, with 1+ year experience. Position may require PRN daytime shifts; work within a faith-based healthcare system dedicated to extending the healing ministry of Jesus Christ.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Radiologic Technology preferred
• 1+ year radiologic experience required
• Registered Technologist – Radiography (ARRT) required; ARRT-CT preferred
• BLS certification required

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality CT and Radiographic exams
• Maintain documentation in EMR and PACS
• Ensure exam rooms are clean and stocked and equipment is safe
• Educate patients about the exam and obtain informed consent when applicable
• Follow radiation safety and ALARA principles
