Job summary

CPC (Colder Products Company) in Minnesota is seeking a qualified X-ray/CT inspection expert to operate high‑resolution CT systems, set optimal scan parameters, and design fixtures that position complex parts without impeding X‑ray penetration. You will perform full 3D metrology, compare CT volumes to CAD, apply GD&T, and generate comprehensive reports for design and quality teams to speed iterations.

The role also supports NPD and root‑cause analysis while maintaining radiation safety and ISO

Qualifications

• Technical degree with 3+ years’ quality industry experience or 5+ years metrology experience in lieu of a degree.
• 1+ years operating industrial X-ray/CT equipment for inspection/metrology.
• ASME Y14.5 GD&T knowledge.
• Experience with data and statistical analysis software.
• ISO 9001/13485 awareness.

Responsibilities

• Operate high‑resolution industrial CT scanning systems and optimize scan parameters.
• Design and fabricate fixtures to position complex prototype parts without interfering with X‑ray penetration.
• Perform full 3D metrology and compare CT data against nominal CAD models using analysis software.
• Prepare comprehensive metrology/inspection reports for design and quality teams; support NPD and DFx discussions.
