USA Mechanical & Energy Services in Connecticut is seeking a Commercial CT-Licensed Sheet Metal Technician SM2/SM1 to join our trusted, family-owned HVAC‑R service team. The role focuses on fabrication, assembly, installation, and repair of sheet metal components, with a strong emphasis on blueprint reading and safe, quality workmanship.

The ideal candidate will have a CT license SM2/SM1, 2+ years of experience, and proficiency with sheet metal tools.

Qualifications

• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine layout and installation procedures.
• Fabricate, assemble, and install sheet metal products using various tools and machines such as shears, brakes, and welders.
• Measure, cut, bend, and shape sheet metal to required specifications.
• Install HVAC systems, ductwork, and other mechanical components in residential, commercial, or industrial settings.
• Inspect and test completed systems and components for proper operation and compliance.
• Repair or replace worn or damaged components as needed.
• Operate tools and equipment safely and maintain them in good working condition.
• Follow all company and OSHA safety guidelines and regulations.
• Maintain accurate job records, timekeeping, and documentation.
