USA Mechanical & Energy Service is seeking a Commercial CT-Licensed Sheet Metal Technician SM2/SM1 to fabricate, assemble, install, and repair sheet metal products for HVAC systems across residential, commercial, and industrial settings. The role requires blueprint literacy, advanced tool proficiency, and strict safety compliance.

The candidate should hold a CT SM2/SM1 license and have 2+ years in the field, with the ability to read drawings and work independently or in a team.

Qualifications

• CT Sheet Metal License SM2 or SM1 required.
• 2+ years of sheet metal experience.
• Proficiency with sheet metal tools and machinery (brake presses, shears, welding equipment).
• Ability to read blueprints and mechanical drawings.
• Knowledge of HVAC systems and installation techniques.

Responsibilities

• Read blueprints and determine installation procedures.
• Fabricate, assemble, and install sheet metal products using tools and machines.
• Install HVAC systems, ductwork, and components.
• Inspect and test completed systems for proper operation.
• Repair or replace worn or damaged components as needed.
