Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited radiologic technologist program.
• Good interpersonal, communication, teamwork, and organizational skills.
• Certified with a current state license or registry-eligible and BLS-HCP.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate clinical radiology skills and anatomy knowledge with optimal positioning.
• Adhere to protocols to optimize examinations.
• Teach students radiography principles as required.
• Communicate with patients to obtain history and explain procedures.
• Assist physicians in examinations with standard protocols and safety.
• Identify and resolve problems impacting exams.
• Maintain patient safety and environment; monitor for safety.
• Accurately identify patients and track studies.
• Participate in performance improvement initiatives and meetings.
• Act as backup for other technologists as needed.
