Qualifications

  • 1 year of experience required.
  • Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist Program.
  • Current State License; ARRT CT certification; BLS - HCP.

Responsibilities

  • Clinical skills in CT imaging.
  • Exhibits working knowledge of CT equipment and procedures.
  • Refer to physician orders for special instructions.
  • Routinely question patient before procedures for history.
  • Explain procedures to reduce anxiety and improve cooperation.
  • Perform procedures efficiently without compromising quality.
  • Coordinate CT schedule with other areas to prevent delays.
  • Ensure patient and general safety; use PPE and shielding.
  • Adhere to radiation safety and infection control practices.
  • Document exam data and pertinent information.
  • Be available for rotating on‑call coverage.
  • Assist other department areas as workload allows.
  • Maintain stocked CT work areas.
