Job summary

ChristianaCare is seeking a CT Technologist I Northern Float to perform CT procedures on outpatients, ensure quality control, and assist in scheduling and coordination within the radiology department.

Requires ARRT registries, state licensure in radiation protection, CPR, and related certifications; a 40-hour work week with shift variations is provided, along with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Completion of ARRT registry in radiologic technology.
• ARRT CT registry within two years of hire.
• State licensure on radiation protection is required.
• Associate's degree or related field; degree in progress allowed with planned completion.
• Certification in CPR is required.
• Yearly PEEPS certification for safety positioning and transfers.
• Completion of IV training course.

Responsibilities

• Perform all phases of CT scan testing on outpatients under radiologist directions.
• Perform other diagnostic imaging exams as skills permit.
• Handle clerical and scheduling duties as needed.
• Demonstrate proficiency with CT scanner units and related systems.
• Maintain compliance with regulatory requirements and department guidelines.
