Job summary

MetroHealth is seeking a CT Technologist to join the Radiology Department. The role focuses on producing high-quality CT images, assisting with CT-guided procedures, and coordinating patient flow for inpatients and outpatients on night shifts.

Responsibilities include educating patients, ensuring safe exam techniques, and collaborating with nurses, physicians, and therapists. This is a full-time night-shift position with union benefits and ongoing training.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology Program.
• Registered Radiology Technologist with ARRT; CT credential or obtain within 1 year.
• Valid Ohio Radiographer License (ODH) and BLS certification or obtain within probationary period.

Responsibilities

• Produce quality CT images in diverse settings.
• Assist with CT guided procedures including biopsies and drain placements.
• Coordinate patient scheduling for inpatients and outpatients.
• Educate patients regarding procedures, equipment, and examinations.
• Demonstrate on-the-spot critical thinking and work under stress.
