Job summary

MetroHealth’s Radiology Department is seeking a qualified CT Technologist to join the team. The role performs CT scanning, assists with CT-guided procedures, and ensures high-quality imaging for trauma, stroke, cancer patients in the Greater Cleveland area.

This night shift position features 7p–7a hours, 60 biweekly hours across 5x12 shifts every two weeks, every other Sunday on call, and a sign-on bonus of up to 15,000 for external applicants.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology Program.
• Registered Radiology Technologist with the ARRT.
• ARRT CT credential or obtains within one year of employment.
• Valid Ohio Radiographer License (ODH).
• American Heart Association BLS Certification or obtained within probationary period.

Responsibilities

• Produces quality CT images in a variety of settings.
• Assists with CT-guided procedures including biopsies and drain placements.
• Schedules and coordinates imaging for inpatients and outpatients.
• Educates patients regarding procedures and equipment to maintain comfort.
• Demonstrates on-the-spot critical thinking and effective communication.
• Functions well under stress and works both independently and as part of the CT team.
