Job summary

UPMC in Wellsboro, PA is seeking a CT/Diagnostic Technologist to join a collaborative imaging team. The role involves performing CT procedures using established protocols, administering contrast, and ensuring high-quality patient care during diagnostic imaging. CT-certified candidates are preferred, but those growing CT experience are encouraged to apply.

Weekend and holiday rotation is required, with a typical schedule of 7:45 a.m. to 4:15 p.m.

Qualifications

• Experience performing CT procedures and using imaging equipment.
• Ability to work with contrast media and patient monitoring.
• Willingness to rotate weekends/holidays.

Responsibilities

• Perform computed tomography procedures using established scan protocols, including contrast administration, without requiring constant supervision.
• Operate imaging equipment for acquisition, analysis, reconstruction, and documentation of image data.
• Review patient history and orders and apply department protocols to achieve optimal imaging results.
• Ensure exams are properly coded and tracked through RIS, and charges are entered correctly.
