Job summary

Atlantic Health System is seeking a CT Technologist to produce cross-section images of patients’ internal organs, interpret scanning instructions, administer contrast, and operate CT equipment for accurate diagnostics.

You will position patients, adhere to ALARA standards, and collaborate with radiologists to ensure high-quality imaging. Based in Morristown, NJ, within a leading non-profit health system.

Qualifications

• ARRT registration required; affiliated with American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
• Associate's degree in Applied Science in Diagnostic Radiology.
• State license in Diagnostic Technology.
• CT Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Interprets CT Protocols and correctly positions the patient for the exam.
• Operates CT scanner equipment in accordance with prescribed radiation standards (ALARA).
• Evaluates CT scans for technical quality.
• Uses EPIC, Radiant, and PACS to schedule and transmit images to Radiologist for interpretation.
• Prepares and administers contrast material using the power injector.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
