Job summary

GBMC HealthCare is seeking a Radiologic Technologist skilled in diagnostic imaging and CT procedures. The role requires ARRT registry, Maryland state licensure, and CPR certification.

Two years of radiologic experience or one year in CT is preferred. The technologist will prepare patients, apply ALARA protocols, assist in procedures, and handle image transfers to PACS/V-RAD, while maintaining accurate records.

Qualifications

• Completion of two years post-high school training in an approved school of diagnostic imaging.
• Must have passed a qualifying examination given by an appropriate credentialing agency.
• National registry through the ARRT and Maryland licensure.
• Healthcare Provider CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Prepares patient for examination and sets up CT equipment and data processing tools.
• Calculates and selects proper technique and protocols using ALARA.
• Assists physicians during procedures with equipment and contrast administration.
• Transfers image data to PACS and V-RAD for physician review.
• Maintains records and required regulatory documentation for cases.
