Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in Radiologic Technology preferred.
• ARRT RT (CT) certification or ARRT RT (ARRT) required in most states.
• CA radiologic licensure required.
• BLS certification required.
• CT advanced certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Produces sagittal and coronal reformatted CT images for radiologist interpretation.
• Operates CT equipment and performs general radiography and fluoroscopy as needed.
• Uses PACS and teleradiology system to transfer images to the appropriate location.
• Maintains accurate records and ensures HIPAA compliance.
• Performs routine maintenance and manages supply inventory.
