Job summary

United Health Services (UHS) Binghamton General Hospital is seeking a Diagnostic Imaging Technologist CT to ensure accurate, timely CT procedures while maintaining safety standards for patients and staff. The role centers on high-quality service for employees, medical staff, patients, and regulatory agencies.

The position offers 36 hours weekly (7 on/7 off) with a day rotation, a $10,000 sign-on bonus for eligible candidates, and potential forgiveness for new graduates.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Radiologic Technology required.
• NYS Radiology Technologist license required; ARRT certification required.
• Preferred: NYS Injection certification.
• Minimum 1 year of radiologic technologist experience in a full-service hospital.
• ARRT CT registration is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT procedures as requested by referring physicians.
• Uphold radiation safety practices for patients and staff.
• Participate in Radiology Management System functions for patient procedures.
• Provide patient education as required.
• Maintain effective communication with referring physicians and radiologists to ensure efficient CT delivery.
• Adhere to department service delivery standards in interactions with patients and staff.
• Follow clinical principles and procedures while performing CT procedures.
