Job summary

Catholic Health is seeking a Full time CT Scan Technologist for the Night Shift at Good Samaritan University Hospital on Long Island. This role involves producing CT images, ensuring patient identification, and applying appropriate protocols with independent judgment.

Qualifications include completion of an accredited two-year radiologic technology program, ARRT registration and NYS DOH Radiology license, and at least one year of diagnostic experience; CT knowledge is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Graduate of an accredited two-year radiologic technology program.
• ARRT registration and NYS DOH Radiology license required; certified to inject contrast.
• One year of Diagnostic Experience required.
• Knowledge and working experience in CT imaging preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs a variety of clinical and research procedures requiring independent judgment and initiative.
• Produces and evaluates CT images for technical quality; identifies images and patients; applies protocol decisions.
• Manages contrast administration and documentation of delivery of contrast.
