Qualificações

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Graduation from an accredited two-year radiologic technology program.
• ARRT registration and NYS DOH Radiology license; certified to inject contrast.
• Minimum of one year of diagnostic imaging experience.
• Knowledge of CT imaging and protocols; ability to evaluate image quality.
• Adherence to hospital and regulatory requirements (JCAHO).
• BLS certification (American Heart Association).

Responsabilidades

• Performs a variety of clinical and research procedures with independent judgment and initiative.
• Produces and evaluates CT images for technical quality; correctly identifies images and patient; applies appropriate protocols.
• Oversees contrast administration and documents delivery of contrast media.
