Job summary

Atlantic Health System's radiology department seeks a CT Technologist to perform cross-section CT imaging with patient positioning, contrast administration, and image handling for radiologist interpretation. You will ensure image quality while following ALARA standards across multiple NJ facilities.

Must have ARRT registration, an AS in Diagnostic Radiology, and state licensure; CT certification is preferred. Excellent teamwork and patient care are essential in this fast-paced hospital network.

Qualifications

• ARRT registered for radiologic technology.
• Associate's degree in Applied Science in Diagnostic Radiology.
• Licensed by the State in Diagnostic Technology.
• CT Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Interprets CT Protocols and correctly positions the patient for the exam.
• Operates CT scanner equipment in accordance with prescribed radiation standards (ALARA).
• Evaluates CT scans for technical quality.
• Utilizes EPIC, Radiant, and PACS to schedule and transmit images to the Radiologist for interpretation.
• Prepares and administers contrast material using the power injector.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
