Job summary

UMC Health System in Lubbock, TX is seeking a CT Radiology Technician to participate in the daily operation of the CT department, perform exams per protocol, and assist with quality control and image management.

You will work under the supervision of a Radiologist, perform contrast injections as needed, and ensure patient safety, comfort, and accurate documentation within the PACS workflow and department policies.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Radiography with an associate degree.
• Twenty-four months experience as Radiologic Technologist in a hospital.
• Current ARRT registration and TDH MRT license.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT procedures per protocol manual under Radiologist supervision.
• Conduct daily quality control tests in CT/MRI per procedures.
• Send images to PACS and manage contrast usage as needed.
• Explain procedures to patients and obtain informed consent.
• Cover standby in CT/MRI and assist in training staff.
