Job summary

Rome Health in Rome, NY is seeking a CT Supervisor to oversee daily operations of the CT department across two imaging locations, ensuring high-quality diagnostic imaging and patient safety. You will provide clinical and operational leadership to CT staff, liaise with radiologists and physicians, and drive workflow improvements.

A Bachelor’s or Associate degree in Radiologic Technology with NY ARRT eligibility and BLS is required.

Qualifications

• Associate or bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology or related field.
• Current NY ARRT certification in Radiography.
• Current New York State Radiologic Technologist license.
• Current AHA BLS.
• Experience as radiologic technologist.
• Previous supervisory or leadership experience.
• Strong knowledge of diagnostic CT procedures, radiation safety, and QA.
• Excellent communication, organizational, problem-solving, and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily CT operations across two imaging locations.
• Liaise with radiologists and staff on quality, safety, and protocol improvements.
• Collaborate with physicians, nursing, and departments to improve workflow.
• Review and maintain appropriate staffing levels.
• Monitor inventory and supplies to support operations.
• Resolve patient concerns in a timely, compassionate manner.
• Monitor patient flow, turnaround times, productivity, and department efficiency.
• Coordinate equipment maintenance and address technical issues promptly.
• Perform CT technologist duties as needed.
• Train, orient, mentor, and evaluate CT staff.
