Job summary

Rome Health is seeking a CT Supervisor to lead the Computed Tomography department across two diagnostic imaging locations. You will ensure high-quality imaging, patient safety, efficient workflow, and regulatory compliance while guiding CT technologists and support staff.

The role requires radiologic technology credentials, NY ARRT certification, and NY licensure, with prior radiography experience and supervisory skills.

Qualifications

• Associate or bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology or related field required.
• NY ARRT certification in Radiography required.
• Current NY Radiologic Technologist license.
• Current AHA BLS required.
• Supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong CT knowledge and radiation safety knowledge.
• Experience supervising clinical staff preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate daily operations across two diagnostic imaging locations.
• Act as a liaison between Radiologists and staff to address quality, safety, and protocol improvements.
• Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, nursing staff, and other departments to improve patient care and workflow.
• Review and maintain appropriate staffing levels.
• Monitor inventory and order supplies to support uninterrupted operations.
• Investigate and help resolve patient concerns in a timely, compassionate manner.
• Monitor patient flow, exam turnaround times, productivity, and department efficiency.
• Coordinate equipment maintenance and address technical issues promptly.
• Perform CT technologist duties when necessary based on department needs.
• Train, orient, mentor, and evaluate CT technologists and other department personnel.
