Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent experience.
• ARRT certification or eligible.
• MIRT license required or eligible.
• CPR certification within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Positions and immobilizes patient on procedure table, following radiologist protocols and performs scans.
• Administers contrast orally and intravenously.
• Enters scan type, slice thickness, scan time and other data into the computer.
• Views images on the display to ensure quality of pictures.
• Evaluates radiographs and data for technical quality.
• Demonstrates new techniques, equipment and procedures to staff.
• Implements radiation safety measures to protect patients and staff.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
