Qualifications

• ARRT or NMTCB registration required within 12 months of hire.
• 3+ years of CT scanning experience preferred.
• Strong understanding of CT protocols and patient care.

Responsibilities

• Patient Preparation: Explain procedures and ensure patient comfort and safety.
• Positioning Patients: Align patients to optimize imaging and minimize exposure.
• Operating CT Equipment: Use CT scanners to capture diagnostic images.
• Administering Contrast Media: Safely administer contrast and monitor for reactions.
• Image Acquisition: Acquire high-quality diagnostic images per protocols.
• Radiation Safety: Follow ALARA principles to protect patients and staff.
• Documentation: Record procedures accurately in the medical record.
• Collaboration: Work with radiologists and healthcare team for accurate diagnosis.
• Emergency Response: Address contrast reactions or distress during scans.
• Quality Control: Participate in QA programs and stay current with practices.
