Jefferson Health is seeking a CT Technologist to perform CT examinations under radiologist supervision, ensuring high-quality imaging and accurate patient information for physician review.

The role includes adhering to radiation safety, preparing patients, and delivering education before, during, and after imaging procedures. Strong ARRT CT training and PACS/RIS knowledge are required, with a commitment to continuing education and safety.

Formación

• Graduate of an approved ARRT CT program and documentation of CT program.
• High School Diploma or GED with CT certification.
• Knowledge of RIS and PACS systems.
• IV Certification and BLS required.

Responsabilidades

• Operate CT scanners to produce radiographs per departmental procedures.
• Ensure proper patient positioning and accurate dosage adjustments as needed.
• Critique films for accuracy and clarity for physician interpretation.
• Follow radiation safety guidelines during imaging procedures.
• Create hardcopy records (CD-R) and transfer data to PACS; complete exams in RIS.
• Maintain CT equipment with scheduled cleaning and testing; report malfunctions.
• Engage in continuing education for licensure and role renewal.
• Interact professionally with colleagues and patients per Jefferson values.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
