Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduation from AMA-approved radiologic technology program
• ARRT Certification and CT Certification required
• Connecticut State License and CPR Certification required
• ARRT (CT) certification preferred
• Six months to one year CT experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Perform quality diagnostic radiographic examinations with accurate image allocation in PACS
• Operate CT scanners and related equipment to produce diagnostic CT images
• Prepare examination rooms and maintain cleanliness and supplies
• Explain procedures to patients to ensure cooperation and comfort
• Schedule radiologic examinations and ensure proper billing
• Participate in teaching and learning opportunities for staff and students
• Ensure patient safety and compassionate care throughout procedures
• Chaperone patients when necessary
