Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiology Technologist Program (required).
• Illinois Emergency Management Agency (IEMA) Accreditation (required).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (required).
• ARRT CT certification within 12 months of hire or 10+ years directly relevant experience in lieu of certification (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Maintain patient safety throughout imaging, including screening, preparation, monitoring and post-procedure care.
• Produce diagnostic-quality CT images using approved protocols.
• Apply professional judgment to optimize image quality and address challenges.
• Review images for diagnostic adequacy and initiate corrective action when needed.
• Administer contrast per policy with appropriate patient monitoring.
• Operate imaging equipment and maintain room readiness.
• Coordinate exam flow and prioritize time-sensitive studies.
• Document accurately in medical records and image archives.
• Uphold safety, ethics and compliance standards across imaging.
• Ensure positive patient experience and support department initiatives.
