Job summary

Wellstar North Fulton Hospital in Roswell, Georgia, is seeking a CT Technologist to deliver high-quality CT imaging and support a compassionate patient experience.

The role requires completing an accredited Radiologic Technology program, ARRT certifications, and at least 1 year of radiology experience, with BLS certification. The CT technologist will work within a collaborative team, maintaining ALARA standards and ensuring patient safety throughout procedures.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Minimum 1 year experience in Radiology.
• ARRT-R and ARRT-CT certifications are required.
• BLS certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT procedures according to department guidelines and maintain diagnostic image quality.
• Operate imaging equipment safely and adhere to ALARA principles.
• Prepare and maintain rooms and equipment; ensure infection control.
• Obtain clinical history, verify orders, and identify patients before exams.
• Explain procedures and address patient questions to reduce anxiety.
• Document studies in RIS/PACS and coordinate transfers/retrievals as needed.
• Monitor patient condition, respond to emergencies, and assist with life-support equipment.
• Support department workflow and keep areas orderly and stocked.
