Job summary

St. Dominic Hospital is seeking a CT technologist to perform all CT procedures, obtain patient history, and ensure safe, efficient imaging. The role includes explaining procedures, transporting patients, and assisting physicians with medications as needed.

Responsibilities include venipuncture, creatinine testing, room preparation, scheduling, supply management, and adherence to QA, safety, and infection-control standards. Training and ongoing professional development are encouraged.

Qualifications

• Performs all CT procedures and obtains patient history.
• Explains routine procedures and addresses patient concerns.
• Transports patients to CT room and prepares room for daily activities.
• Assists physician in administering medicines as required.
• Performs venipuncture and PO creatinine testing with QC.
• Maintains documentation and participates in education and QA activities.

Responsibilities

• Performs all CT Scan procedures, selects and operates equipment as directed.
• Schedules cases to coordinate with other examinations.
• Requests supplies to keep materials on hand.
• Participates in safety, infection control, and quality assurance programs.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
