St. Catherine of Siena Hospital, part of Catholic Health, is seeking a CT Technologist to operate CT scanners, prepare patients and ensure safety during exams. The role requires ARRT and NYS licensure with prior CT experience preferred.

Responsibilities include positioning patients, assisting radiologists, maintaining image quality, and complying with radiation safety standards while managing a full caseload and on-call rotations.

Competenze

• ARRT license/registration required.
• Current NYS license to practice.
• Minimum 5 years of CT experience preferred.
• NYS IV Contrast certification required or to be obtained within 6 months of starting.
• Able to participate in scheduled call rotation.

Mansioni

• Explain scanning procedures to patients and provide reassurance.
• Position patients appropriately for scanning procedures.
• Assist physicians with imaging procedures in the CT department.
• Adhere to radiation safety practices.
• Complete a full caseload assignment.
• Capture diagnostic CT images using CT equipment.
• Sterilize radiologic equipment to ensure patient safety.
• Interpret doctors' scanning instructions accurately.
• Evaluate CT scans for technical quality.
