Job summary

St. Dominic Hospital in Jackson, MS is seeking a CT Technologist to perform computed tomography procedures and support the radiology team. The role reports to the Supervisor or Manager and requires completion of related education and licensure per ARRT rules.

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced clinical setting with emphasis on patient care and safety. The position requires either an Associate degree or completion of a radiologic technology program, with prior CT experience

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or radiologic technology program graduate preferred.
• Sufficient previous experience in radiology/CT procedures and knowledge of radiologic terminology, physiology and anatomy.

Responsibilities

• Perform all CT procedures and obtain patient history as needed.
• Explain routine procedures and address patient concerns.
• Prepare CT room and operate equipment per protocol.
• Assist physician in CT procedures and maintain sterile technique.
• Schedule cases and coordinate with other examinations.
• Perform venipuncture and assist with related tasks.
