Job summary

South Shore Health System in Weymouth, MA, is seeking an experienced Radiology CT Technologist to join our imaging team on the evening shift. You will operate the CT scanner, prepare patients, administer contrast when indicated, and support radiologists to achieve accurate diagnostic images.

Qualifications

• Minimum Education - AMA approved radiology program.
• 3–4 years radiologic experience with CT exposure preferred; CT training desirable.
• BLS certification within 180 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Maintains CT scanner equipment and imaging quality.
• Sets up and calibrates equipment per exam, checks dose limits.
• Accepts patients, explains exam and assesses needs.
• Administers IV contrast using sterile technique.
• Reviews orders with Radiologist and ensures proper exam.
• Performs safety checks, image transfers, and training of staff.
