Job summary

Aura Health seeks a Radiology Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging procedures, primarily radiology and CT, to support accurate patient diagnosis and treatment. You will follow department protocols, ensure image quality, and minimize radiation exposure while maintaining patient safety and comfort.

Responsibilities include preparing exams, verifying patient details, collaborating with team, and upholding regulatory and quality standards.

Qualifications

Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
Certifications: ARRT-Radiography, ARRT-CT, and BLS at hire.
Minimum 1 year radiology experience; CT preferred.
Strong communication, customer service and multitasking skills.
Ability to work independently, under pressure, and as part of a team.
Knowledge of anatomy, radiation safety and quality control procedures.

Responsibilities

Perform exams accurately per department protocols.
Set up equipment, position patients, and ensure image quality with minimal exposure.
Verify patient identity, review histories, and follow safety/sterile techniques.
Respond to emergencies, maintain equipment, and document procedures.
Communicate with patients, explain procedures, and reduce anxiety.
Assist in training colleagues and support department operations (restocking, cleanliness).
Ensure quality control and regulatory compliance, timely image submission, and calibration.
