Minimum qualifications include ARRT registration, CT certification, BLS, and several years of CT experience. The role emphasizes dose reduction, patient safety, and collaboration with departments system-wide.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program.
• ARRT registered as Radiographer by ARRT.
• Advanced CT certification.
• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
• Five years CT experience preferred.
• Knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy.
• Proficient in venipuncture.
• ALARA and CT dose reduction knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Review department procedures with manager and radiologists.
• Provide feedback for performance reviews.
• Develop quality improvement plans.
• Perform the duties of a CT Technologist.
• Monitor day-to-day activities on the floor and buildings.
• Fill in during shortages or emergencies.
• Oversee lunch/break times with in-charge techs.
• Collaborate with committees on imaging and patient care.
• Promote standards of care per organizational goals.
• Ensure safety and HIPAA confidentiality.
