Job summary

Indiana University Health is seeking a CT Technologist to operate the CT scanner, prepare and position patients, and administer contrast as needed. You will ensure safe imaging, obtain IV access, adjust scan parameters, and collaborate with radiologists to address clinical concerns.

Responsibilities include adhering to radiation safety protocols, performing routine QC on equipment, documenting information in the EMR, and supporting minimally invasive procedures.

Qualifications

• 0-3 years of relevant imaging experience.
• Basic Life Support certification through the AHA.
• Ability to maneuver equipment and improvise patient positioning.
• Active ARRT or NMTCB certification.
• Advanced CT certification within 12 months of hire.
• ISDH Radiologic or Nuclear Medicine license in Indiana.

Responsibilities

• Operate CT scanner and position patients for imaging.
• Screen patients for safe scanning and contrast administration.
• Obtain IV access and administer contrast as required.
• Adjust scan parameters to ensure diagnostic images.
• Collaborate with radiologists and referring physicians.
• Follow radiation safety protocols and QC routines.
• Document necessary information in the EMR and assist in procedures.
