Job summary

The Elliot Health System is seeking a motivated CT Department Tech Assistant to join our Radiology team in Manchester, NH. You will provide clerical and communication support, assist with patient transport and positioning, and help prepare the CT suite for exams.

Responsibilities include delivering contrast as needed, handling records with confidentiality, and utilizing imaging clerical systems. Strong health care experience and good communication are preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent, required.
• 2-3 years of experience in health care setting performing similar work activities, preferred.
• Knowledge of computerized clerical functions within imaging, required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in transporting patients throughout the Radiology department, including CDU and Emergency Department.
• Assist in patient positioning, including lateral transfers to and from stretchers.
• Assist in preparing the CT suite by cleaning, stocking, and setting up for exams.
• Communications using phone and paging system.
• Prepare upcoming CT exams by delivering contrast medium as needed to floors.
• Maintain records, respect confidentiality and follow established policy.
