Job summary

The Elliot Health System is seeking a motivated CT Department Tech Assistant to support the Imaging team with clerical duties, patient transport, and exam preparation. You will interact with patients, assist staff, and help maintain a smooth CT workflow in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include positioning patients, delivering contrast, and processing routine clerical tasks while upholding confidentiality and department policies.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 2-3 years healthcare experience preferred.
• Knowledge of computerized clerical functions within imaging required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in transporting patients within Radiology, CDU, and ED.
• Assist in patient positioning, including transfers to/from stretchers.
• Prepare CT suite by cleaning, stocking, and setup for exams.
• Communicate using phone and paging system.
• Deliver contrast medium to floors as needed.
• Maintain records and uphold confidentiality.
