Job summary

Penn State Health Holy Spirit Medical Center in Camp Hill is seeking a CT Computed Tomography Technologist (Weekend) to perform x-rays and CT scans for diagnostic purposes, ensuring image quality and patient safety.

Full-time, 0.90 FTE, weekend shift 9:00a–9:30p with a $10.00/hour weekend incentive; a $20,000 sign-on bonus is available for eligible hires. ARRT/NMTCB credentials or registry eligibility and BLS are required.

Qualifications

• Must be registered or registry eligible by ARRT Radiography Program or NMTCB.
• Graduate of radiography program.
• Must pass the radiography ARRT registry within 3 months of employment.
• Must pass the CT ARRT registry within 18 months of employment OR pass NMTCB registry within 3 months of employment.
• BLS required prior to orientation completion.

Responsibilities

• Take x-rays and CAT scans or administer nonradioactive materials into patient’s bloodstream for diagnostic or research purposes.

SUMMARY OF POSITION

Take x-rays and CAT scans or administer nonradioactive materials into patient's bloodstream for diagnostic or research purposes. Includes radiologic technologists and technicians who specialize in other scanning modalities.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION(S)

• Must be registered or registry eligible by one of the following accrediting bodies: American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Radiography Program or Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board Program (NMTCB)
• Graduate of radiography program
• Must pass the radiography ARRT registry within three (3) months of employment
• Must pass the CT ARRT registry within 18 months of employment OR pass NMTCB registry within three (3) months of employment
• BLS required prior to orientation completion

PREFERRED QUALIFICATION(S)

• CT experience preferred.
