Job summary

Clearwater Cardiovascular Consultants (CCC) seeks a Full-time CT Clerical Assistant to ensure precise CT documentation and clerical support for the CT Department. You will report to the CT Manager/Technologists and assist with data collection, report editing, and overall workflow.

The role requires strong computer and office skills, knowledge of Microsoft Office, and familiarity with medical software. It involves pre/post-scan tasks and close collaboration with physicians and nursing staff.

Qualifications

• Strong computer and documentation skills.
• Timely and accurate preparation of clerical needs in the CT Department.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products expected and additional Medical software knowledge preferred.
• Good working knowledge of general office procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assist in CT schedule preparation to ensure high quality studies and patient satisfaction.
• Handle all PHI with discretion.
• Ensure CT pre-test and post-test paperwork is accurate and complete.
• Confirm billing matches with ordering diagnosis and remove completed order.
• Edit and finalize CT reports from Cardiology and Radiology; maintain documentation.
• Prepare outside images/reports for comparison; create CDs or use Cloud transfer.
• Assist CT nursing with schedule prep and appointment reminders.
• Collaborate with CT team for smooth departmental workflow.
