Nurses-Direct, LLC is hiring travel contract surgical technologists to serve near Shreveport, LA. Ideal candidates must live at least 65 miles from Shreveport. Requires a high school diploma; preferred surgical technology program or degree; 2 years sterile processing; scrub tech experience in a hospital preferred. Certifications (CRCST/CSPDT/CST) preferred. Shifts: mid (2:30p–11:30p); 3 positions available.

Education

Preferred - Graduation from an accepted program in surgical technology or a bachelors degree in surgical technology

Work Experience

• Preferred – 2 years of experience in sterile processing.
• Preferred – Experience working as a scrub tech or surgical tech in a hospital.

Certifications

• Preferred – Certified Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST),
• Certified Sterile Processing Department Technician (CSPDT), or
• Certified Surgical Technologist (CST)
