Job summary

AdventHealth in Parker, Colorado is seeking a qualified Surgical Technologist (CST) to support the operating room team on a full-time day shift. Responsibilities include assisting surgeons, maintaining aseptic technique, and ensuring instrument and supply readiness for procedures.

The ideal candidate will have CST or Surgical Technology program credentials, a high school diploma, and BLS certification. 1–2 years of OR CST experience preferred; benefits available from day one.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; Surgical Technology program preferred.
• Successful completion of approved Surgical Technology training or CST program.
• Current BLS certification required for the role.
• Two years of OR CST experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Anticipates the needs of the surgeon and informs circulating nurse throughout procedures.
• Maintains high standards to support cost savings and containment.
• Assembles supplies, equipment and medications before procedures; supports staff and physicians.
• Monitors aseptic technique and corrects any breaks in technique.
