Job summary

Medical City Frisco, part of HCA Healthcare, seeks an Obstetric Surgical Technologist to support the newborn delivery team in a high‑standard obstetrics environment.

You will prepare the surgical suite, assist with procedures, and help maintain a sterile, patient‑centered experience, with access to training and mentorship and on‑call support.

Qualifications

• Basic Cardiac Life Support within 30 days of start date
• Tech in Surgery – Certified (TS-C) or Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) or work experience in lieu of credential
• Certificate or vocational training or equivalent work experience
• 1 year of experience required

Responsibilities

• Prepare the surgical suite and organize instruments, equipment and supplies for procedures
• Assist with patient positioning, prepping, and draping while maintaining comfort, privacy and safety
• Provide instruments and hands-on support to the surgical team during obstetric procedures
• Maintain a sterile field, perform counts, and ensure instruments and equipment function properly
• Work closely with the surgical team to deliver patient-centered care and a seamless surgical experience

What qualifications you will need:
