Job summary

Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools is seeking a School Improvement CSI/TSI Instructional Specialist (ESL focus) to design and implement programs using CSI/TSI funds under ESSA. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required and NC teaching license required.
• Experience in school improvement initiatives and data-driven decision making preferred.
• Knowledge of ESSA CSI/TSI requirements and federal program compliance preferred.
• Ability to coordinate with schools, administrators, and district staff to implement programs.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to all state, federal, and local laws, policies, and procedures.
• Provide direct coaching and technical assistance to school leaders, district staff, and school improvement teams.
• Support implementation of School Improvement Plans (SIPs) related to CSI/TSI activities.
• Analyze student performance data to identify root causes and guide resource allocation and interventions.
• Build capacity by providing data analysis, progress monitoring, and identifying intervention strategies.
• Ensure district compliance with federal rules, including UG and ESSA requirements.
• Monitor and report progress for assigned CSI/TSI programs and deliverables.
