Job summary

ITC Federal, LLC is hiring a Network Engineer for Fort Meade, MD, performing on-site networking, firewall, and VPN tasks for CSfC deployments. You will maintain and optimize large-scale network infrastructure, coordinate with security teams, and ensure 24x7 availability in a high-security environment.

The role requires active Federal SECRET clearance, IAT Level II certs, and hands-on experience with Cisco/ Palo Alto devices, VPNs, and routing protocols.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of network engineering experience in large-scale environments.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent technical experience in IT.
• Active Federal SECRET clearance and IAT Level II certs are required.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on support for routers, switches, firewalls, and VPN appliances.
• Plan software updates and disaster recovery operations.
• Configure network segments with a security-first approach.
• Test, document, and report system status to support operations.
• Diagnose and resolve network problems; replace faulty components.
• Monitor performance and plan future changes.
• Collaborate with software, server, and operations teams.
• Provide 24x7 on-call Tier 3 escalation for outages.
• Perform other duties to support the customer's mission.
