A/Z Corporation is seeking a Civil Working Leader to oversee construction of commercial/industrial frameworks and direct teams including subcontractors and operatives at job sites in Massachusetts. The role requires strong leadership, safety compliance, and the ability to read and implement blueprints.

You will coordinate field activities, supervise quality, ensure adherence to plans, and manage daily reports and scheduling with a focus on timely delivery and team safety.

Competenze

• Requires High School Diploma or equivalent and 5 years field experience.
• OSHA 10 certification is required.
• Familiarity with SOPs and daily Job Hazard Analysis (JHA).
• Construction layout using transits, lasers, etc. must be understood.

• Inspect and replace damaged framework or fixtures; perform minor demolition.

• Plan and execute project schedules, site layouts, and manpower.

Position Summary:

The Civil Working Leader will participate in and oversee commercial and industrial building frameworks and lead team members including Sub-Contractors, other carpenters, laborers, and operators.

Role and Responsibilities:

• Regular attendance at assigned location that may include office or other project sites
• Act as a team leader in the execution and direction of civil work
• Follow blueprints and building plans to meet the needs of clients
• Measure, cut, install metal studs, drywall, wood blocking, ceilings, flooring, formwork, and other materials
• Lifting and moving objects and construction materials intermittently or on a continuous basis
• Layout and construct building frameworks, including walls, floors, ceilings, and door systems
• Help erect, level, and install building framework with the aid of rigging hardware and cranes
• Inspect and replace damaged framework, structures, or fixtures, with minor demolition
• Prepares daily reports material requests, and material take-offs
• Plan and execute project schedules, site layouts and manpower requirements
• Inspect the work of team members, make corrections as required, accountability of crews

Educational & Experience Requirements

• High School Diploma or relevant work experience
• 5 years of field experience
• OSHA 10 certification
• Knowledge of Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's)
• Competency in Permit Required Confined Spaces
• Understanding and development of daily Job Hazard Analysis (JHA)
• Construction layout using transits, lasers, etc.
